The Shifts tab

The Shifts tab is home base: what's next, what's this week, and a quick way to add, edit or find a shift.

Next up

The card at the top shows your next upcoming shift: its role, place, date and time, with a big Autofill request button and an edit button. If you have a double shift, every unfinished shift on that day shows together in the card, instead of being split across two.

If you have nothing coming up, the card says “No upcoming shifts” with a shortcut to add one.

The week view

  • The week bar shows This week, Next week or Last week (otherwise the dates). Step with the ‹ › arrows.
  • Shifts are grouped under a day heading such as Friday, Sep 18, so busy weeks stay readable.
  • Each row has Autofill and a ⋯ menu with Edit. Inservices show Tracked only in place of Autofill.

Search

Click the magnifier in the week bar and it slides open. Type any part of a shift: position, location, title or date. Results replace the week view (and the Next up card is hidden) until you clear the box.

Editing and deleting

Choose Edit on a row, or the edit button on Next up, and the shift opens in place with its fields. Change what you need and press Save, or Cancel. Delete lives inside edit mode and asks you to confirm (“Delete this shift?”, or “Delete today's shift?” for today's). Every save and delete shows an Undo toast.

Adding a shift

Permanent shift“Repeats every week”. Creates one shift per week, about five months ahead.

A permanent shift is saved as individual shifts, each with its own date, so you can delete a single week later without touching the others. Adding permanent shifts by hand needs no calendar link at all.

At the bottom of the form are two shortcuts: Adding an inservice instead? and Import from an ICS file.

Adding an inservice

Inservices have a role of LG or HLG, a day (Sun, Tue or Thu) and an optional location (none, ARC Indoor or CRCE). Pick the role first and the matching times are shown. Standard times:

RoleSundayTuesday / Thursday
LG (Guard)7:00 – 9:00 PM8:00 – 10:00 PM
HLG (Head Guard)6:30 – 9:00 PM7:30 – 10:00 PM

HLGs start 30 minutes earlier and finish at the same time. LTS doesn't do inservices.
